Ironman Training Camp 2013 - (February 2013)
     
Ironman Training Camp February 2012  

The Noosa Tri Camps February 2013 Ironman / Long distance camp saw MSC move into the fifth year of organisation. The long distance camps are five days in duration and volumes undertaken over this period total approx 480km of cycling, 50k running and 7km swimming.

Ironman Training Camp February 2012  

Noosa Tri Camps recent Ironman / Long distance Camp in Noosa saw fifteen campers line up for five days of training and total immersion into the long distance psyche.  Lead by MSC coaches Nick and Jess this was the running of Noosa tri camps nineteenth camp over the last three years  which saw the majority of campers readying themselves for the upcoming Ironman Melbourne, Port Macquarie and Challenge Cairns events over the coming weeks and months.

Womens Noosa Triathlon Training Camp  

Noosa Tri Camps held the annual Noosa Triathlon themed All Women’s camp in Noosa recently on the weekend of August 19-21. The Camp which takes in the Noosa triathlon course over two and a half days had 15 ladies from around the country in attendance.

Noosa Triathlon Themed Camp  

The Noosa Tri Camps September Camp was held over the weekend of September 9-11 under sunny Noosa skies. The standout feature of this particular camp gives participants a full hit out over the actual Noosa triathlon course on the final day of the camp. With most of the campers new to the Noosa tri, taking this step to prepare well in advance of the big day breeds confidence that carries all the way to the race.

Custom Training Camp - Noosa (added May 2011 - Location of camp - Noosa, Queensland)
     
Training Camps - Custom Camp for Brisbane Doctors   A group of 7 doctors from Brisbane enlisted us @ Noosa Tri Camps to tailor make a weekend of training for them up here in beautiful Noosa.

The group have In the last couple of years been getting more and more in to Triathlon and with their burning interest and passion for the sport they wanted to take the next step into learning some more.

Training Camps - Challenge Cairns Training Camp   Cairns turned on some magnificent autumn weather for the participants of the Challenge Cairns Pre race training camp. The camp ran for three days over the recent Labour Day long weekend, and was headed by Noosa Tri Camps head coach - former professional and now coach Nick Croft and champion age group athlete Jessica Fleming.

Training Camps - Mt Isa Training Camp   In March of this year Nick and Jess made the trip up to North Western Queensland to conduct a two day Custom Camp for the Mt Isa Rats Triathlon Club. With fifteen eager participants on hand to take in the two days of the camp program a busy few days was ensured.

A bit more class room work was also added to explain the planning process of working out the training year, the phases your year should incorportate and education about the Heart Rate training zones....

All Women's Triathlon Training Camp (story added October 2010)
     
Female specific triathlon training camp   For all those girls who had never competed in a triathlon or are new to the sport, the all girls Noosa Triathlon themed camp held in late August in Noosa Heads was an opportunity to good to pass up for seventeen ladies of all ages and abilities.

A great chance to learn over a weekend filled with activities and supply the answers to questions such as “What’s it like swimming in open water surrounded by hundreds of people and how do I survive!”, “how do I change a flat tyre?” and “what does transition mean?”

Niseko Japan Training Camp

Niseko Japan Training Camp   As part ot this years Noosa Tri Camps schedule Nick and Jess had the opportunity to travel to Japan in early September to work with a Hong Kong Based Club - the Tritons. Held on the northern most island of Hokkaido and based in the well known ski area of Niseko, the camp catered for 20 athletes of varying abilities.

Focusing on the bike as an emphasis to take in the stunning surrounds the 6 day program kept the campers and coaches very busy. The summer activities of the region are just starting to be relised by the 'outside world' and cycling is one of the fastest growing past times making significant progress.

Ironman Training Camp - February 2010 (story added February 2010)

Our February Noosa Tineli Performance War Ironman camp comprised of 3-4 or 6 day packages.

Fifteen participants from around the county with one international from Hong Kong attended. Two campers were traveling to Ironman China in March with six lining up for Ironman Australia in five weeks time.

September 2009 Training Camp News (story added September 2009)

Our Second Noosa Triathlon Training Camp for 2009 took place over the weekend of September 26 and 27.

A busy weekend in Noosa indeed with School holidays and AFL Grandfinal to contend with! Leading into the camp we decided to add a one day experience to the program and opened up some of the various clinics on offer as well. The result was we had 27 faces attend over the weekend which included a full hit out over the Noosa Tri course. Once again we had great weather and athletes who had travelled from afar. Pascal Loux from Belgium (who works in Singapore) winning the prize for longest journey to get to the camp.

Our sponsors of USM Events, Cooroy Mountain Water, Coolum Cycles, and Allez Sport provded great product and prizes for participants - thanks so much for the support. Our 2010 camp program is now up and will feature 5 camps in Noosa including a long distance training camp in February.

August 2009 Noosa Triathlon Training Camp News (story added August 2009)

Perfect Noosa Spring weather greeted the campers for the first MSC Noosa Triathlon Training Camp for 2009.

The camp filled in the final weeks leading in and this always allows for a great atmospehere and comaraderie over the weekend. At MSC camps we always work on one staff member for every four or five athletes.

Our Staff are champion age group athletes in thier own right and add to the experience with their own stories and progression through the ranks which the new campers to the sport always seem to appreciate.

* Cancellation Policy - Cancellations 30 days or more prior to the camp/clinic start date will be refunded 50% of the registration fee paid. No refunds for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the camp/clinic start date. Transfers to another camp/clinic in the same year are allowed for a fee of $75 provided the transfer is made at least 30 days or more prior to the camp/clinic start date. No transfers less than 30 days prior to the camp/clinic start date. No exceptions.
